Introducing the Metro!

Apparently, right hand drive, turbocharged, manual-transmission cars aren’t for everyone. With that in mind, we picked up this little beauty for the girl.

It’s a 1992 Geo Metro LSi convertible with the teeny little 1.0 L, three-cylinder engine and automatic transmission.

Teeny tiny! Not actually the turbo model - but somehow it picked up the valve cover from one some time in the last 20 years.

Surprisingly, it’s kind of roomy inside. The fact that the two-seater convertible is the same dimensions as the five-seater models accounts for that.

It has surprisingly low mileage of 85,000km, but being 20 years old it still needs a few things.

Needs:

  • thermostat

  • convertible window replacement

  • window seals

  • tire balance

  • brake rotors

  • block heater

  • replacement for broken wheel stud

  • winter tires
Look for more to come on this tiny little car in the future.
